Madressa

At the AhlulBayt Centre, we run a weekly Madressa that takes place on Sunday. The Madressa is for children between the ages of 6 and 15. Here, we teach a comprehensive Islamic curriculum including the topics of Fiqh, Aqaid, Akhlaq, Tareekh and Quran. The children are encouraged to think freely in an environment where they can solidify their bases in faith, rather than just digest information without passion or understanding.

Teaching arrangement

The Madressa is divided into two groups:

Group 1

6-12 year olds at 11:30am – 1:45pm

Group 2

13-15 year olds at 9:00am – 11:00am

Term Structure

There are three terms in a year and also summer holidays. Each term will be approximately three months long.

The term dates are:

  • Term 1 = October – December

  • Term 3 = April – June

Fees

In regards to fees, it will be £50 per child, per term. For parents with more than one child coming to Madressa, it will be £30 per term for each additional child.
